Help me Dream. . .

These are photos from our first trip to El Salvador.  Most of these photos were taken in San Miguel, Milagro de la Paz.  The most dangerous city in the country.  It is currently highly patrolled by soldiers because of the level of violence and danger there.  They voluntarily escorted us to go deeper into the town, it wouldn't of been safe for us to go alone.

The volunteers on this trip were founder, Nancy Gomez and her parents Jose and Miriam Gomez.  With the kind help of Rosa Rios we were able to go to the best school supply stores and get the most for our money.  We also got baskets filled with food, rice, beans, cooking oil, cereal, milk, soap, etc.  We delivered these to families that were in desperate need of it.  As well as non-government funded Orphanages.

The kids were absolutely fascinated with everything and so eager to learn!
